Tying into the overall concept for the resort, βXizhou Hallβ provides the βPerformance Hallβ of the grand residence.
Inspired by the performances of the artisans who once entertained guests in the grand halls of traditional Chinese residences, Xizhou Hall provides an elevated breakfast experience for guests and transforms into a wonderful culinary destination for lunch and dinner.
The space is designed to connect the internal courtyards with the external gardens, allowing guests the ability to connect with views from their chosen table – whether in private rooms, internal terraces against the windows or from the raised central pavilion.
The pavilion seemingly floats over the reflective dark blue marble floor, offering diners a platform to view the internal courtyards, surrounding gardens and the chefs crafting dinners in the open kitchens. Details of lanterns fitted into the private dining room walls recall traditional instruments played by artisans.
