At the age of six, Victor Liong arrived in Australia and grew up immersed in the multicultural energy of Sydney. His time at Sydney’s world-acclaimed Marque Restaurant remains a significant influence on his approach today.

In 2013, Victor opened his first restaurant Lee Ho Fook in Melbourne. Originally located in the city’s norther suburb of Collingwood, Lee Ho Fook rapidly grew in popularity and in 2015 moved to a larger site in the CBD where its loyal following enjoys Victor’s unique and creative new style Chinese dishes.

In 2019 Victor collaborated with the Star Entertainment Group and chef Chase Kojima (Skyo, Kiyomi) to launch Chuuka, in the iconic harbourside Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont. Converging the distinct flavours and techniques of Japan and China into one visionary dining experience.

Victor is frequently recognised in The Age Good Food Guide, The AFR Hottest 100 restaurants, Gault Millau Guide, The Australian Gourmet Traveller and Worlds 50 Best Discovery Awards.
