Chelsea Garden

The Social F+B team brought this vision to life by capturing the essence of a bustling marketplace, creating a series of immersive zones that together form a cohesive and experiential space.  

In designing the space, we drew heavily from Covent Garden’s rich architectural textures—such as patterned flooring, cobblestone pathways, geometric patterns, hanging baskets, and stone walls—paying tribute to the neighbourhood’s character. We also collaborated closely with our lighting consultant to recreate the sense of open sky typical of a walk through Covent Garden, bringing a layer of detail.  

Each zone, showcasing noodles, Sichuan, barbecue, or dim sum kitchens, is anchored by strategically placed live-show kitchens that add a dynamic element of culinary theatre. Custom FF&E pieces and lighting were developed to enhance the ambiance, immersing guests fully in the venue. Flower carts, symbolic of Covent Garden’s heritage, were custom-designed to serve both as floral displays and functional storage. At the entrance, a bespoke chandelier, created in collaboration with CANVAS, our art consultant, echoes the architectural structure and facade of Covent Garden, welcoming guests with an artistic nod to its iconic design.
